MIUI 14: Everything You need to Know about

The MIUI 14 global version has been formally released for the Indian and foreign markets. The upgrade first began in China in December of last year. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will be the first Xiaomi phone in India to launch with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. By Q3, 2023, the firm intends to upgrade the majority, if not all, Xiaomi and Redmi phones and tablets. As of this publishing, the release date for Poco devices has not been disclosed.

Top Features of MIUI 14

According to Xiaomi, MIUI 14 includes four main components or areas for development. Better RAM and ROM optimization is at the top of the list, and it appears to result in a user experience that is quicker and leaner than MIUI 13. In addition, the new OS upgrade offers even more customization possibilities than the previous version, with improved aesthetics. There is also more of a push towards Artificial Intelligence.

214MB less boot-up memory, according to Xiaomi, will enable the “fastest boot-up experience ever on a Xiaomi device” for devices running MIUI 14. Also, the business has cut by 11% the amount of RAM consumed by 19 of its “most-used” system programs, including the camera, clock, and messaging. Also, compared to MIUI 13, background apps will use around 6% less RAM. In addition, the current version of MIUI uses less system space, and apps you don’t use frequently will have their cached data decreased “dramatically,” according to Xiaomi, which also claims the new software may free up as much as 3GB of storage over the course of three months.

Users will be able to delete items from photographs and copy text from photos in the gallery app with MIUI 14. The update also includes a few other improvements, such as the ability to just say “cheese” and the camera will capture a picture.

When it comes to customization, MIUI 14 offers 6 new wallpapers, 3 new clock widgets, 4 more weather widgets, revised settings for the battery and step counter, and an expanded folder.
