How to Change the Boot Animation in Windows 11
A custom boot animation will add a personal touch to your Windows 11 installation. Microsoft was expected to release a Windows 10X build with a progressive ring boot animation. That animation replaces the dotted ring shown during Windows 11’s boot phase. The big M, on the other hand, has abandoned 10X.
Nonetheless, Microsoft’s current desktop operating system retains certain design elements from 10X. Even though there is no obvious option to enable 10X’s alternate ring animation in Windows 11, you can still use it. This is how you can change the boot animation in Windows 11 to a progressive ring option.
1. How to Manually Edit the Registry to Change the Boot Animation
The progressive boot animation in Windows 11 is a hidden design feature. To enable it, perform a registry change that adds a new BootControl key with a BootProgressAnimation DWORD. That’s a simple registry change that you can implement as follows:
1. Press Windows + R to open run dilog.
2. Type regedit in the search box then click Ok.
3. To select and clear the current location, place the cursor inside Registry Editor’s address bar.
4. Enter this given path and press Return to open the Control key:

Winaero Tweaker is customization programme that allows you to customise the boot animation in Windows 11. This shareware software has a number of settings for customising the boot and login process, including a Windows 10X Boot Animation feature.
